The Origin of the Order
The Order of the Knights and Dames of the Holy Grail is an international Christian order of chivalry, devoted to the Holy Chalice venerated in Valencia. It gathers Christians of every nation.
It was founded in collaboration with the International Association of the Camino del Santo Grial to support the promotion of the Camino del Santo Grial, the route of the Holy Chalice from Aragon to Valencia, already a candidate European Cultural Route of the Council of Europe.

Places of the Grail
Saint Lawrence, Patron of the Order
Deacon of Rome and keeper of the treasures of the Church, Lawrence received from Pope Sixtus II the cup of the Last Supper and, according to tradition, sent it to his native Aragon, where it was guarded for a thousand years.
Ordered to surrender the riches of the Church, he presented the poor of Rome as its treasures. He was martyred on 10 August 258. The Order keeps his feast on that day.

The Order is international by constitution. Its Brothers and Sisters live in many countries, and its offices correspond in English, Italian and Spanish.

The Camino del Santo Grial, from San Juan de la Peña to the Cathedral of Valencia, in collaboration with the International Association of the Camino del Santo Grial.

Ambassadors of the Order are appointed by magistral decree. Appointments are announced in the News of the Order.
