Data controller
The data controller is the Order of the Knights and Dames of the Holy Grail. For any matter concerning personal data, write to the Chancery: chancery@holygrailknights.com.
Data we process
Correspondence. When you write to one of the offices of the Order, for example to petition for admission, to propose a partnership or to ask for information, we process the data you choose to send: name, email address, country, age, Christian tradition and the content of your message.
Browsing data. This website is hosted by WordPress.com, operated by Automattic Inc. When you visit it, technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited are processed by the host for security, performance and anonymous statistics.
Purposes and legal basis
Correspondence is processed to answer your request and, for petitions, to assess your admission to the Order. The legal basis is your request and the steps taken at your request before admission, and the legitimate interest of the Order in managing its relations. Browsing data are processed on the basis of the legitimate interest in the security and functioning of the website.
Retention
Correspondence is kept for as long as necessary to answer your request and to manage the relationship that follows. Petitions that are not accepted are deleted within twelve months. Browsing data are kept by the host according to its own policies.
Recipients and transfers
Data are accessible only to the officers of the Order responsible for the request, and to the providers of hosting and email services acting on behalf of the Order. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards required by law, such as the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. Data are never sold or used for commercial profiling.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, their rectification or erasure, the restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing, by writing to the Chancery. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.
Minors
Admission to the Order is reserved to persons of age. The Order does not knowingly collect data from minors.
