Diplomatic Activities
The Order is developing relations with institutions and organisations of every country that share its devotion to the Holy Chalice and its commitment to faith, culture and the formation of the young.
An international vocation
The Order is international by constitution. Its mission, to keep alive the tradition of the Holy Grail and to form men and women able to serve the common good, belongs to no single country. Its Brothers and Sisters come from many nations, and its relations follow them where they live and work.
Christian chivalry has historically been a bond between peoples. The Order continues that tradition through relations with the Church, the academic world, cultural and heritage bodies, civil society and enterprise, in every region of the world.
Relations of the Order are conducted by the Diplomatic Office under the authority of the Grand Master.
Partnerships
Institutions, organisations and companies from every country may request to become partners of the Order. A partnership is a public and lasting relation, founded on shared values and on projects carried out together.
Partners may take part in the pilgrimage along the Camino del Santo Grial, in cultural, academic and spiritual events, in the publications of the Grand Library and in initiatives for the formation of the young. They are associated with the name of the Order in its communications and invited to its principal celebrations.
How to request a partnership
Requests are addressed to the Diplomatic Office and should include the name of the institution, its country, a short presentation and the proposed project. Each request is examined by the Diplomatic Office.

Dioceses, cathedral chapters, religious communities, confraternities and ecclesial movements of the Catholic and Orthodox traditions.
Knowledge
Universities, schools, academies and research centres in history, theology, philosophy and the humanities.
Heritage
The cultural routes of Europe, sanctuaries, museums, archives and bodies protecting the Christian heritage.
Civil society
Christian associations, foundations, youth organisations and charitable works.
Enterprise
Companies that support projects of faith, culture and formation and wish to be associated with them.
Governments and public institutions
Governments, local and regional authorities and international bodies engaged in culture, historic routes and the formation of the young.
International Association of the Camino del Santo Grial
The Order was founded in collaboration with the International Association of the Camino del Santo Grial, which promotes the route followed by the Holy Chalice from San Juan de la Peña, in Aragon, to the Cathedral of Valencia, and which has presented it to the Council of Europe as a candidate European Cultural Route.
The Patron of the Order is the President of the Association, Ana María Mafé García. The annual pilgrimage of the Order takes place along the Camino.
Ambassadors of the Order
The Grand Master appoints Ambassadors of the Order by magistral decree. An Ambassador represents the Order in a country, a region or before a given institution, fosters its relations and presents its partners.
Ambassadors are chosen among members of proven fidelity and among persons of standing in public, academic, cultural or professional life who share the mission of the Order. Appointments are announced in the News of the Order.
