The Order of the Knights and Dames of the Holy Grail has published the Manifesto of the Holy Grail, the founding text in which it sets out its mission: the spiritual reconstruction of the world through chivalry, discipline and fellowship.
Written by the Grand Master, Riccardo Pace, the Manifesto describes the Order as a global fellowship of pilgrims inspired by the City of God, uniting Christians across every border. It rests on three pillars of spiritual chivalry, absolute discipline, strength in faith and sacred pilgrimage, summed up in the words Gladius et Fides.
At its heart stands the motto of the Order, a prayer addressed to the Blood of Christ received in the Grail: Sanguis Christi, mundum lava; Sanguis Christi, nos purifica. Blood of Christ, wash the world; Blood of Christ, purify us.
